Consistency beats intensity when life gets busy…
I’m 41 and I’ve been coaching since I was 23, I’m a former college basketball player who learned early that simple, repeatable training beats doing more. As a kinesiology major, I started in entry-level gyms like LA Fitness and Gold’s, learning the work on the floor, earning certifications like NASM CPT and Precision Nutrition Level 1, and coaching real people with real constraints.
Over time, that path took me into higher-performance environments like Life Time Fitness and Equinox — and eventually pushed me in the opposite direction.
Today, my approach is intentionally minimalistic. I’m focused on strength, body composition, mobility, and longevity — not maximizing workouts, but maximizing carryover to real life. A big part of that comes from my obsession with kettlebell training and my continued pursuit of advanced education in that space. Simple tools. High return. Fewer moving parts.
I primarily work with men (and women) in my own stage of life — busy, capable adults who want to stay strong, functional, and athletic without turning fitness into a second job.
I don’t believe in gimmicks or extremes. I believe in daily habits, repeatable systems, and training that still works when life is chaotic.
I see fitness as a lifelong practice, not a phase. My goal isn’t to keep clients forever — it’s to help them build the understanding and habits to carry this on for life.
If that way of thinking resonates, we’ll work well together..
